The location is excellent, the room was clean, the breakfast was simple but good with fresh fruit included. The staff was helpful.
The airconditioning was very noisy. It was not possible to pay with credit card, while this possibility was indicated on the Booked.net website. The staff told me that this was only a short time problem because of the change of the owner but it was still very annoying.

The hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful with directions and assisting me with making reservations around town. The location cannot be beat - I had a lovely little room overlooking the street.
I would have preferred to have been able to open the outside shutters to let some light in during the daytime, but to secure the room, the shutters had to be closed. In the evening when it cooled down, I could open both sets of doors.

The hotel was located in the heart of the historical center which was very convenient for sightseeing and dining. Our room was clean and had good air-conditioning which was essential to escape the heat. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, providing us with a map of the city and some valuable recommendations for restaurants.
The room was quite small and the bathroom was in need of some renovation as it looked old. the breakfast was very basic and some of the dishes were cold.

It is very well located.
The service was not that good, rooms are dark and unattended and too expensive

Nice, friendly staff. Helped with problems with ac and tv. Felt safe and secure. Great location.
First room we were given the ac did not work. However, the staff was able to find a better room with a working air conditioner. Would like to have internet access.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the heart of the historical center. The location couldn't be better, with all the sights and attractions just a stone's throw away. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms were simple but charming, fitting in well with the hotel's historic building. I particularly loved the rooms with balconies, as they provided a lovely spot to relax and take in the city views. The breakfast included in the rate was a great touch, with delicious options to start the day off right.
No concerns.

Just the location, near to all Centro Historico in Cartagena, near of good stores and Torre del Reloj and Plaza de Santo Domingo. I recommend this because is cheaper and you can take your drinks in good places and walk securely into the Centro Historico. If you plan to enjoy the hotel, probably you would like a "boutique hotels".
The breakfast is very simple and the Satellite tv service (it is not hotel fault), Telefonica tv is really the worst in all latam, if you want an hotel with good tv service in Colombia you probably might choose DirectTV or une cable digital tv but no more.

Except the location there was nothing good about the hotel. I ended up not staying there for the night.
The room I was shown was a small cramped space without windows. I would strongly recommend that if you decide to stay there you make sure you have one of the front rooms with a balcony. Not all rooms come with balconies and/or windows as shown on the photos. They were misleading. The staff was not helpful and just ignored me when I complained about the room. I would not recommend this hotel unless you enjoy claustrophobic space. And, to boot, the price per night was quite high for such property - around 60 dollars a night.

The Centro Hotel had an incredible location in the heart of Cartagena's walled city. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was enjoyable. The room, although without a window, was comfortable and quiet with effective air conditioning. Additionally, the hotel had a charming cafe on the first level.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Perfect location. Very friendly and helpful staff, but not all of then spoke English.
Our shower didn't had hot water, and they couldn't fix it during our stay. The standard is not that high, compared to what you pay, but that is all over Cartagena. The room didn't have any windows. Noisy in the evening, due to a restaurant in the center of the hotel.

Room was clean and quite nice. Location was good.
When I was leaving there was a little additional sum (about 15.000 COP) added to my bill that I did not understand even after explanation from the receptionist. But I was too busy to complain about that so I paid it.

This hotel is in the middle of the historic district, providing easy access to the sights and nightlife. the breakfast is fresh and delicious while the staff is very friendly and helpful. Many rooms are equipped with basic amenities such as A/C and safe-boxes. Plus, the lush green courtyard is the perfect spot to relax after a long day of adventuring.
There is a slight mold issue in some of the bathrooms, but it's not a major problem.
